The Illuminated Absence. Giclee Prints 2008 This series of photographs was taken around the world in various abandoned prisons, asylums, and hospitals. Sunlight creeps into these dark spaces as the elements slowly break them down. The light, both surreal and haunting, seems to simultaneously illuminate the silent decay, and amplify the forgotten memories lost within.
